The Town of Bonanza is located in the rich agricultural Lost River Valley 25 miles East of Klamath Falls in Klamath County on Oregon State Highway 70. Today, Bonanza is a strong farming and ranching community of 465 people. The history of Bonanza goes back to the late 1800's when the Town was developed at an old Modoc Indian site. Bonanza holds numerous events throughout the year that bring the community and visitors together. Bonanza is a small, friendly place known for it's pleasant atmosphere to work and live. Getting to know people is easy and making life long friends is common. The Town of Bonanza is known also for it's motto "A Community Committed To Helping Each Other."
